Deon Jenkins is a storyteller who believes in the power of words to uplift, inspire, and heal. His debut novel, Finding Tyrell, introduced readers to Novel City – a world of character-driven fiction centered on Black men navigating love, identity, friendship, and desire, told with tenderness, conflict, and emotional honesty.
Heartbeats and Bloodlines, his sophomore novel, deepens the connections readers fell in love with while expanding the Novel City universe. For Deon, storytelling is about creating intentional space for voices and experiences that deserve to be seen and celebrated.
